About me
Being a musician myself, I have always been very interested in every detail of the production process. Why do things sound the way they do? Is it the mic? Is it the preamp? Is it the room or simply the performance itself? Being thirsty for knowledge, I already decided at the age of fifteen years to do all of our future band recordings by myself.
That's how it all started...
I've always had a weakness for analog gear; the smooth warmth and vintage vibe great analog gear can deliver still catches me today. Therefore, I started to learn (and collect) classic gear since my early days. For my ears, nothing compares to the sound of a real Rhodes, a vintage u47, a classic ribbon mic like the Coles 4038 or an original space echo.
Although I mix within a DAW to ensure total recall to clients, my mixing process still remains pretty much analog, with an SSL console being the centre of my workflow.

Equipment

For recording, I can offer a total of 55 top notch preamps, a digital audio labs livemix monitoring system with 6 headphone mixers (allowing up to 9 musicians to individually mix their own cue mixes) and a bunch of the best microphones ever made.
For mixing, the SSL Origin Console gets accompanied by numerous classic hardware eq's, compressors, reverb and delay units.
